Common Questions

How do I share a list with my family?

Open the app and go to your home settings. Tap "Invite" to generate a link or QR code that family members can use to join your home. Once they join, they'll see all shared lists in real-time.

How does receipt scanning work?

Tap the receipt icon in any list, snap a photo of your receipt, and Kartov will automatically extract items and add them to your pantry. Prices are tracked over time so you can spot trends.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including lists, recipes, and meal plans. This action cannot be undone.

Can I use Kartov on multiple devices?

Yes! Sign in with the same Google or Apple account on any device and your data will sync automatically in real-time.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is stored securely on our servers in Germany, encrypted in transit, and never sold. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do notifications work?

Kartov can send notifications when household members add items, complete tasks, or send nudges. You can customize which notifications you receive in Settings → Notifications.
